These children need the money to afford food, a place to live, and to have at least an elementary education. Also, many kids are living with at least one deadly disease, many are life threatening. The most common disease is HIV, when young girls were raped by older men.

These children have been through a harsh life so far, and they are still suffering right now due to the genocide that occurred in 1994. At first, they saw their family and friends get butcher and/or killed, and now they are orphans. Each and every day they are thankful for living, these children do not have a home or food to eat.
